Pick Your Own Organic Pears 2025

We have some really disappointing news!  There was fruit fly larvae found in fruit at Glynde and restrictions were immediately implemented by PIRSA. Unfortunately we are only just within the radius for restrictions on fruit movement and have to implement specific protocols. 

This year we are unable to offer "Pick Your Own Organic Pears" as all fruit harvested from our property until late April 2025 has to be chilled for a minimum of 14 days before being certified to leave the property and enter the Adelaide market.  We encourage everyone to visit the PIRSA website and familiarise yourself with the restrictions across Adelaide and help prevent any further issues!  We fully support keeping SA fruit fly free.

On the bright side, our Shed Door will be operating as usual and we will have bags of fruit available that you can purchase. Our pizzas will not be impacted (have you ever seen a fly want to go into a 400 deg C wood oven?) and you are more than welcome to go for a walk in our orchard but under no circumstances are allowed to pick any fruit.
